Anime Island / Imaganimation Toys was founded by James & Yuanyuan, 2 people who have been collecting Anime Figures and related merchandise for years. We first started out buying small figures in Japan and China while on vacation, then expanded to buying larger scale models and figures to display in our home. James loves to build Gundam models and other mech style figures, while Yuanyuan enjoys collecting alot of the animated female characters (Saber, BRS, Yoko, Evangelion, etc).

They started this business as an answer to other US based websites that feature alot of figures that are just too overpriced.
